Your Trainers for the day:
Mike Kevern is the owner of MK Consultancy based in Redruth Cornwall, and delivers specialist business trainings in: Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Time Management.
Mike has been in business and management for many years, with highly successful management stints with McDonalds Restaurants and SWEB making up part of his CV.
Peter Graves is the Technical director of Channel Computing Limited a Penryn-based business which develops web sites and applications, optimises for increased web site traffic, and conducts on-line marketing campaigns.
Pete has been in the IT field for almost 20 years, and progressed from being a developer to managing some large commercial projects in the UK and New Zealand. Pete and his partner Anna Barrington moved back to the UK from New Zealand last year, settled in Anna's home county, and set up Channel Computing to develop online business for themselves and their customers.
Running their own small businesses means that both Mike and Pete are very much in touch with the priorities and needs of other small business owners and start-ups, and it this audience to whom the course is primarily addressed.
