We are delighted recently to have completed the new fully accessible content managed web site www.GrowCornwall.co.uk. Grow Cornwall is an initiative aimed at providing coaching and development programmes for high growth businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, funded by the RDA, and Convergence programme for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, and provided by Oxford Innovation Limited.
Oxford Innovation are the UK's leading providers of Innovation Centres, and provide business support programmes including Innovation Advisory Service South East, the Oxfordshire Enterprise Hub, and three Investment Networks that raise funding for start-up and growing companies throughout the UK. The networks include Oxford Investment Opportunity Network, the Thames Valley Investment Network and Oxford Early Investments which collectively have helped over 90 companies raise £19.5m during the last five years.
Channel Computing took Grow Cornwall's original custom web site design and transformed it into a very usable, flexible, and fully accessible content managed web site. Additional features were put in place
to allow the implementation of online surveys and questionnaires, including the questionnaire using which business can self test to find out whether they will qualify for support from Grow Cornwall. The site also features event registration and bookings, blogging, multimedia, document management, as well as a secure area where only authorised users of the site can access sensitive information.
The second stage of the Grow Cornwall project is the integration of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to manage every stage of the customer experience, and including a system for project tracking and management. The site is also integrated with a variety of social networking applications.
