Anna Barrington
As a founding director of Channel Anna heads up our Internet marketing and SEO team, and is responsible for content and copywriting for SEO and web sites. In addition she looks after all finance and HR.
She's an experienced account manager having worked with large corporates including New Zealand's Lion breweries, and returned to her home in Cornwall in 2006, after several years living in New Zealand. When not at work Anna is a force to be reckoned with in Truro Ladies Hockey team, has sailed across the Pacific Ocean from New Zealand to Tonga, and competed at top level equestrian three day events.
Andy has been with Channel Computing since May 2009, and has become the bedrock of our design and development team.
A Master Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) with a Business Degree and 10 years experience as a web designer and developer, his skills really complement the rest of the team. Remarkably Andy writes almost every line of web site code by hand, a feat that marks him out for respect among other web professionals.
As well as being an amateur boxer Andy is the possessor of a dry sense of humor. Give him a call and find out!
Tim Gerrish
Tim is a highly experienced coder and database designer, and his life revolves around object oriented programming and relational data structures. Tim has worked in roles from developer to IS Manager for a wide variety of respected tech businesses including Marconi, CIOS systems and others, with 30 years experience. He specialises in custom code in PHP, Microsoft VB. C#, ASP, SQL Server, MS Access, in fact many of our business systems for our larger clients.
Beware of putting Tim in a box however because as well as being a keen member of an Amateur Dramatics society he is also an active supporter of 'Reach', a Cornish based national charity helping families and children with upper limb deficiencies. www.reach.org.uk
Luke Best
Luke Best has been with Channel since June 2010, and is our youngest and some might say brightest talent. In addition to being a genius with graphics and photoshop he is very handy with a content managed web site, a static web site, ASP code, lead or rhythm guitar.
Luke's quiet demeanor can be misleading; at the weekend he becomes a guitar hero, and plays in some very respected rock bands in Cornwall and all over the Southern half of England.
James Stoddern
James joined Channel in June 2011, and spends his time between developing websites and administering local and client servers. With over 13 years in the industry, James’ skills complement the Channel team, offering another expert in ASP, Microsoft VB, PHP, SQL, JQuery and JavaScript.
Outside of the office, James can be found in his own, self-built recording studio playing guitar, or out in his allotment tending to his crops. James is also busy planning his 2012 Vegas Wedding (which will be streamed online, and available on DVD).
Peter Graves
Peter Graves is the technical director and the first point of reference for our customers. He has been in the IT industry since 1987, and designed, managed and implemented successful projects for major clients worldwide.
